Project Overview

ShadeCo completed a tensile fabric structure for the outdoor cafe at Panjim Convention Centre, Panaji, Goa. The project was designed to create a comfortable, shaded and visually appealing open-air seating area for guests.

The tensile canopy improves the cafe experience by protecting the outdoor area from sunlight and rain while maintaining a light, airy and modern atmosphere. Its curved architectural form adds a distinctive design element to the convention centre's hospitality space.

Design and Engineering

The structure was designed using UV-resistant and fire-retardant tensile fabric supported by a durable mild steel framework with a high-quality painted finish. The design supports efficient water drainage, reliable shade coverage and long-term durability in Goa's coastal weather conditions.

ShadeCo's engineering team focused on achieving a sleek, contemporary look that complements the cafe ambience and the convention centre's modern architecture. The installation was executed with precision to ensure safety, structural stability and clean finishing.
